Support locked out Pacific National IPS workers

Donation protected
A group of brave and courageous new union members have banded together in what is shaping up to be a true modern day struggle against an aggressive employer with very deep pockets.

In 2015, Pacific National restructured their business and stripped hundreds of workers of their hard fought and won entitlements, sending them back to the Award.

These workers are now the lowest paid of their role in the industry!

Fast forward to 2022, those same workers voted with their feet and achieved a majority support determination and forced Pacific National to the bargaining table.

Since then, they have formed a union, and established workplace structures with 7 new delegates. Together they decided to embark on an industrial action campaign after 13 months of hard bargaining.

After a series of smaller industrial actions, including multiple full day strikes across the business, and seeing no movement from Pacific National, members decided to notify a 72 hour strike.

But Pacific National had different idea and used the unfair provisions of the Fair Work Act to LOCK OUT its workforce for an entire week with no guarantee of return.

These workers are seeking your support to assist them in keeping up this struggle.
