Bighorn Sheep Mineral Research

Donation protected

The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep need your help.

Due to the 300% above normal snowpack in Wyoming's Wind River Range this winter, crucial nutrients are being depleted in the soil and plants, thus depriving the Bighorn Sheep herds of desperately needed Selenium and other vital nutrients needed for their survival.

Researchers with the Bighorn Sheep Restoration Group, based in Lander, Wyoming, have developed a research project designed to thoroughly study the effects of low Selenium levels in the plants and soil in the Southern Wind River Range.  In order to complete this study, $50,000 is needed to fund the project. Long term solutions will be proposed in order to increase lamb recruitment rates, thus growing the Bighorn Sheep herd in this area.

The North American Packgoat Association is supporting this Group and respectfully asks that you consider donating to this worthy cause. Donations as low as $5 are welcome.

100% of all donations will go to funding this research project. (Less GoFundMe fees).
