We are reaching out to bring to your attention a serious situation that has impacted a member of our community. On the night of August 1st, 2024, Liluram Paudel, who many of you may know, was involved in a devastating car accident on Baltimore Beltway Md-l-695. Along with his father-in-law, Kanshiram Khatri, he is currently in intensive care at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, fighting for his life. Liluram is the primary provider for his family, which includes his wife, Maya Khatri, and their two young daughters, aged 8 and 5. This tragic accident has brought unimaginable challenges, not only in terms of health but also financially. With Maya now needing to care for both her injured husband and father, as well as their children, the family is under severe financial strain. In response to this crisis, the Baltimore Association of Nepalese in America (BANA), at the request of Baglung Samaj America, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to assist the Paudel family. The goal is to help cover the mounting medical expenses and provide some financial relief during this incredibly tough time. We’re asking for your support in whatever way you can. Whether it’s through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others, every bit helps. This is a time for us to come together and show the Paudel family that they are not alone.
