Paddling to Paris 2024

I’M GOING TO THE PARIS OLYMPICS!!!

Hey Everyone! My name is Casey Eichfeld, and I’ve been a Team USA Canoe Slalom athlete since 2004. I competed in the 2008 Beijing, 2012 London, and 2016 Rio Olympics Games! In the 6 years since then I got married to my wonderful wife, and we welcomed our bubbly baby girl in early 2022! I continued training and competing in that time, but came up second fiddle for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. That only added to the fire though! Now I have officially qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics!!!

The long and short of it is that fundraising is my absolute least favorite part of being an athlete, but the training can’t happen without some help along the way. Most of the expenses for the training, racing, and travel for international competition is not covered. The Olympics will be covered once I move into the Village, but there are 3 Paris training camps and 3 World Cups before that.
