Paddy Duffy's Cancer Recovery
Donation protected
Paddy and his family need our help. As you may all be aware our little friend, 6 year old, Paddy Duffy was diagnosed with medulloblastoma shortly before Christmas. In order for him to get the best treatment possible he has now travelled to Manchester for Proton assessment and to begin his journey to recovery. His Mam and Dad are with him to help him along the way. That's where we come in. The O Brien and Harkins family have given endless hours in the support of sports and community events in Borrisoleigh. It's the turn of the Camogie/GAA/Borrisoleigh and communities further afield to show their support of them. A weekend of events will be held in Borrisoleigh over the February bank holiday weekend. It will be the "Paddy Duffy Weekend". It is hoped to raise sufficient funds to ease the burden of the cost of travel for Paddy's family and to keep the bills paid at home whilst they spend their time getting Paddy better. All amounts no matter how small will go towards supporting the O Brien and Duffy family. Any unused funds will be donated to to the various services that have helped Paddy and his family.
