A couple of weeks ago Paddy unfortunately had to have his leg amputated on top of a couple of other surgeries and a heart attack. He's recovering well and we are feeling amazingly fortunate to still have him with us.
It's been a very rough couple of years for him in constant pain with frequent surgeries and hospital visits. He's been in hospital now for the last 2 months which has been particularly tough on him mentally with the Covid restrictions being the family man that he is.
We are now on the verge of welcoming him home for Xmas and are ecstatic that this chapter is now behind us.
But...
As fortunate as we have been on public healthcare with his surgeries and hospital time we now need to drum up a few sheckles in order for him to come home comfortably. We have received some granting to modify the house but still have a ways to go.
We need to get a custom van with wheelchair access conversion and a couple of remaining modifications done to the house.
We have exhausted all other avenues financially and are now reaching out for your help.
