Padilla Family Needs Your Support

Hello All,

It is with profound sadness that I must share the passing of our beloved Julissa Padilla (Julie) and her twin baby boys, Noah & Matteo Padilla. Julie was a devoted mother, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, co-worker, and so much more.

Julie had been experiencing some complications related to her vitals throughout her pregnancy and was admitted into Columbia Presbyterian Hospital to be consistently evaluated before having a C-section at her 25th week of pregnancy. The babies were expected to be delivered and cared for in the NICU unit until they were stable enough to be cared for at home. Julie underwent an emergency C-section and endured an amniotic fluid embolism during the procedure.

Unfortunately, the complications were far too extensive, and they did not survive even after the immense effort of medical personnel and their equipment.

Julie is survived by her husband Joseph and 8-year-old daughter Sophie, who are going to need all the support possible to cover funeral expenses and any additional costs that are necessary at this time.
