Page's Big Heart
Donation protected
If you know our friend Page, then you certainly know she is not one to ask for help. Just two years ago she took her two beautiful children and moved to New Orleans to give them a better life. They are thriving there thanks to Page, who works two jobs to support them all on her own.
This year, after years of suffering exhaustion and shortness of breath they discovered Page has a congenital heart defect. She has always attributed her symptoms to the challenges of single parenting, but now has the real answer. This particular defect is usually discovered when people are already gone so we feel very lucky they found it in Page and can fix it! She will undergo Open Heart Surgery on June 12 and the recovery will be long.
Here comes the help part. She will be out of work for quite some time and is fearful she will fall behind on rent and bills that she has worked so hard to maintain. She has made a beautiful home for her children and does not want to loose it. Cathy and I thought some of you who know Page might be willing to donate so she can recover stress free knowing her children will be taken care of during that time.
Please consider any amount. No amount is too small! We are so grateful for any assistance in helping someone we feel is like a sister to us and provides so much light and laughter in this world.
Warmly,
Emily and Cathy
