Becoming a Pastor

Hello, my name is Myoung Chong EUM and I am currently attending Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. I have been in US for 2 years and 5 months now, and I have a great interest in the kingdom of God and the gospel. While living in Korea as a professional coach and meeting poor and marginalized youth, I had the experience of reviving my adolescent dreams at the suggestion of God. I came to the United States at the age of 45, found a calling, and came to seminary to fulfill that calling. Nowadays, I feel that it is really not easy to study at my age. However, as I study theology, I have come to understand how much God loves people and how limited our love is, and I want to dedicate myself to raising up the next generation to work in political, economic, social, cultural, and medical fields with the gospel of the kingdom of God.
