Hi, my name is Mekyas,

It’s no secret or shocker that the pandemic was a really difficult time for artists & small businesses owners. Yet even two years later some of those very same people can still feel the effects of it, like it was just yesterday.

Unfortunately I find myself in that group of people still feeling the residuals.

During the course of the pandemic I lost my job and fell into a deep depression. At the end of 2020 I decided to pursue my passion for art and commit to it full-time. It was one of the scariest decisions I ever made.

But thanks to the grace of God, for almost a year I survived, was able to get by just enough to make it. But then I got Covid again for the second time at the end of 2021. From December of 2021 until March of this tear I was dealing with health complications that rendered me nearly bedridden.

It effected by ability to maintain my business, I got significantly behind on orders. I was so ill I couldn’t physically uphold my commitments, and then suddenly business stopped.

I have been working very hard to catch up and pay off bills and loans, but I still need help in order to save my business.

I am desperately in need, not only for myself, but for those who rely on me. My family, my friends, my customers. Everyone who has ever believed in me.

I’m only human, but I’m not too proud to admit that I didn’t fail. That I didn’t let some people down, but I’ll be damned if I won’t try to make it right.
