Dear Employees and Friends,
It is with great sadness that we start this GoFund Me page on behalf of the Castellanos family. Although, David had been employed by Painters USA for a short period of time he was known throughout our crews as a hard- working, dependable, and “want to do whatever it takes” man. He will be missed.
As you are aware on February 4th, 2020 they suffered a terrible loss. A devastating fire destroyed the home of the Castellanos family. It took the lives of their beloved family members. The Castellanos family lost a great man, David Castellanos, known loving by many as “La Gaviota”, a loving husband, father, father-in- law and grandfather. They are also mourning the loss of David Castellanos III, loving known as “Junior” who will be terribly missed by his loving father, grandmother, uncles, aunts and cousins.
The fire also affected Susana Castellanos (daughter of David Castellanos), who lived on the first floor with her husband and children. The second floor is where David lived with his wife, his son and grandson. The home that Mr. Castellanos built for his family is destroyed with not only the material possessions but all the loving memories made in a lifetime.
We cannot bring back the two lives that were lost that night but we can help bring back some of the material things that they so desperately need as well as help with funeral arrangements and the transportation of Mr. Castellanos and his grandson to their final resting place in Mexico.
