PakistanVSCorona Ration Drive

Hello! This is an appeal from the Elaj Trust team and Aik Awam, led by Jibran Nasir, to support our Food Drive during the Corona lockdown in Karachi. Help us provide monthly ration packs to families currently struggling to make ends meet due to the lockdown. The lockdown has been put into effect in order to protect us. We as individual need to look out for each other during these unfortunate times. 

The areas which we will be serving:

3. Delhi Colony
4. Punjab Colony
5. PNT Colony
6. Gizri
7. Hazara Colony
8. Jhamooria Colony
9. Chandio Village
10. Hijrat Colony
11. Bizerta Lines

Each Family Pack (Serves 5 people for approximately  3 weeks) costs Rs. 3000

We will be providing following products in the family pack:

1. Sugar 2 kg
2. Flour 10 kg
3. Rice 5 kg
4. Antiseptic Soap 2 bars
5. Daal Chana 1 kg
6. Daal Mong 1 kg
7. Daal Masoor 1 kg
8. Masoor Sabut (kali daal) 1 kg
9. Salt 800 gms
10. Red Chilli Powder 200gm
11. Haldi Powder 200gm
12. Oil 2 Litre
13. Tea 385 gm

Our team is personally surveying households on ground. In the first phase, we have already identified nearly 2,000 households in need of assistance in the areas listed above. We are coordinating our efforts with the local government and other NGOs to avoid duplications.
