Orphan Support in Pakistan

Living a life without a family is one of the most difficult things in the world. Couple that with the psychological pain of seeing a parent taken from you, from begging on the streets for food, or from spending your nights anywhere it's warm, and a child may never develop properly. This is the daily struggle for millions of orphans residing in Pakistan.
The EDHI foundation is a well known non-profit social welfare organization in Pakistan. It was founded by Mr. Abdul Sattar Edhi and Mrs. Bilquis Edhi in 1951, with the focus of the organization being on providing free health care via hopsitals and mobile clinics and caring for abandoned babies, children, disabled and handicapped people.
The money donated today will go directly to an EDHI orphanage in Islamabad, which is the capital of Pakistan. I will hand deliver the money myself, and will post follow up pictures!
This cause speaks to me in so many ways, and I would appreciate any support you have to offer to these beautiful children. Every child deserves the chance to grow and thrive in a nurturing environment. We would not be here today with our heads held high without the shoulders of our parents to stand on. Give these children a chance to prove to the world what they’re capable of.
