Palace Group Employee Relief Funding

The Palace Group Team (Palace Cafe, Prairie Fire Pie and Kitchen 27) needs your help! Due to the COVID19 pandemic and the closure of all dining rooms and bars in Tulsa our staff of about 50 people are limited on hours that they rely on for their livelihood. Our staff consists of mothers, fathers, students, and immigrants that all depend on us to pay for their basic needs: rent, utilities, and food. This loss of income will affect them and their families in a profound way. 

To seed the effort, I am immediately dedicating my entire salary to the fund while we are shut down.  I am also dedicating 50% of all gift card sales for all properties to this fund.  And finally all tips that are left for pickup and curbside orders will go directly to this fund.  We will use this money to help those on our team that will face significant financial hardships in the weeks to come.

I feel very responsible for my restaurant family, and I never imagined that I would have to ask my patrons and friends for direct financial help supporting them. I built this business over the last 19 years, weathering the effects of 9/11 in 2001 and the financial crisis of 2008.  But this situation is beyond my imagination.  I have always been driven by generosity, whenever I am asked to donate for this charity or that I rarely say no. I am asking now for your generosity and help to support my restaurant family through this incredibly unpredictable time.  Every dollar helps, and every dollar donated will go directly to my staff to help them pay their bills. This money will go to ensuring that they are able to cover their bills while waiting for everything to normalize.

We anxiously await the day that this nightmare is a distant memory and we can get back to the business of providing you with a delicious meal in one of our dining rooms.  Thank you in advance for your help.
