Palawan Typhoon Relief

Hello, my name is Luke Beaver, my wife Avon and I are seeking for the people in need in Northern Palawan, a province of the Philippines. On December the 17th Palawan was struck with a supertyphoon that devastated the northern half of the island, destroying at least 8 bridges and wiping out most of the small villages located near the river.

 

Since the island is considered to be the least likely place for a storm to hit the governing authority's were not prepared for a natural disaster of this magnitude. The people of Palawan are resilient but with bridges being down and fresh water sources being contaminated fresh water and food are the first priority. Most have lost their homes and belongings but are in desperate need of the most basic supplies. All proceeds will go directly to contacts in local churches that will work to bring food and water by boat from unaffected cities.

 

If you would please prayerfully consider giving to those in Northern Palawan this Christmas season we would greatly appricate it. We will be sending money ourselves but wanted to create an easy way for friends and family to do so.
