I am Suhael Aziz, a 20-year-old college student from Sterling, Virginia, reaching out to you with a plea for help. Every month, I've been sending what little I can to support one family, but it's simply not enough. She was one of the many families who had reached out and asked for help, highlighting the widespread desperation in Afghanistan. With Ramadan approaching in March, the urgency to provide for these families grows even stronger. The holy month is a time of fasting and reflection for Muslims around the world, but for many Afghan families, it's a time of heightened struggle as they lack the means to provide for their basic needs. The average yearly salary in Afghanistan is a mere $600, leaving thousands of families with barely enough to survive. With your support, we can make a meaningful difference.
