STUDENT LED INITIATIVE :

On January 7, 2025 a devastating fire tore through our beloved Palisades Charter High School campus, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The fire has not only damaged critical school buildings but has also left our entire community shaken. For many of us, Pali isn’t just a school; it’s home. It’s where we’ve spent some of the most formative years of our lives, and it’s where our stories began. Now, more than ever, we need your help to restore the heart of our community and rebuild the place that has been so vital to our growth.

More Than a School – A Home

Palisades Charter High School has always been more than a place of learning. It’s a space where we’ve forged lifelong friendships, faced challenges together, celebrated achievements, and created countless memories. Our school grounds are more than just buildings; they are the places where we’ve laughed, cried, learned, and grown. From the classrooms where we’ve discovered our passions to the athletic fields where we’ve competed, this campus is at the core of who we are.

The fire that tore through Pali has impacted so much of what makes this school special—our classrooms, student spaces, athletic areas, and community meeting points. But what’s truly painful is not just the damage to the buildings, but the disruption to our shared experiences. The hallways that once echoed with the voices of students are now silent. The sports fields that once hosted triumphs and teamwork are temporarily out of commission. But we won’t let this tragedy define us. Instead, we choose to rebuild, restore, and revive the spirit of Pali.

This isn’t just about fixing walls and replacing equipment. It’s about bringing back a sense of community, of home. It’s about making sure future generations of students have the same opportunities we had—opportunities to learn, to create, and to grow in a space that fosters connection and support. The fire may have damaged our physical campus, but it hasn’t broken our spirit. We are committed to rebuilding what was lost, and with your help, we can make that happen.
