Palmer Park Handball & Racquetball Courts

The Palmer Park handball courts, built in 1951 hosted many national handball championships and racquetball matches . They have great bones, but are in need of repair. The refurbished facility will allow great play, but will also provide a place to current handball and racquetball players  to play the game forward. Workshops for young Detroiters will introduce them to a game that builds skills and character.
Funds will go toward painting, tuck-pointing, sports fence, court surface refinishing, and area beautification.
This is a chance to take the rejuvenation that is happening downtown to our neighborhoods. Spread the love and play it forward!
