Hearts for Hope - Palmer Adoption!

I am asking for anyone with a heart for orphans to be a part of a very special project to bring sweet Hope home from China to her forever family in Ohio. Jim and Tammy Palmer are a wonderful couple who have already joyfully adopted three daughters into their home: Nikki, Jessie, and Gloria. Recently, they decided to host Hope for a three week stay in the United States in hopes of helping her find a forever home, only to realize that she was meant to be in THEIR home as THEIR daughter. Hope has had an instant connection with the Palmer family and needs to be home with them as soon as possible, instead of in an orphanage!
The process of adoption is so overwhelming in so many ways - the time, the paperwork, the waiting (Hope will have to go back to China for around 9 more months at the very least). And even after her homecoming, there will be a lot of work ahead for the Palmers, as they help Hope adjust to a new country, learn a new language, get caught up on schooling (she hasn't had any yet), and receive therapies to help her with some of the limitations caused by Cerebral Palsy.
On top of all that, the adoption process will cost around $40,000. Jim, Tammy, and Hope's sisters are ready to embrace this adventure and give Hope a family, and I would love to see them surrounded by a crowd of people who are willing to ease the financial burden, so they can focus on all the other aspects.
I am a friend of the Palmers who met them through church, and I have witnessed their hearts of compassion reaching out to people in countless ways, but their passion for orphans is particularly moving. James 1:27 tells us that part of "true religion" is that we take care of orphans. For those of us who haven't been called to personally adopt a child at this time in our lives, what better way to embrace this verse than to do our part to enable another family to answer their call to adopt?!
Can you give up a Starbucks coffee or two, or a movie night, or a phone upgrade, and put that money towards bringing this precious one home instead? Please help us make sure that Hope is with her parents soon, to take her very important spot in all the future Palmer family photos. There will be an empty spot in the pictures and in their hearts until she's with them again!
