Palookaville! 2004 debut album on vinyl at last!
Donation protected
Please join Palookaville! Al, Dean, Oliver & Dan in their quest and make this cheeky tassel-twirling dream a reality!
In 2004 the famed, self-titled Palookaville! CD hit the streets which took the merry band across the UK and Europe, leaving a trail of glitter in their wake. Alas, their rise to stardom was to be short-lived as the record company folded shortly after the CD release which halted any future production. The album vanished and gained an almost mythical status.
Palookaville! carried on and established themselves as the house band in Birmingham's Candy Box Burlesque Club. From a Hammond swirling, fuzz guitar quartet, they grew to an award winning, mighty Bump 'n' Grind 14-piece burlesque orchestra, which continued until 2013.
Today we have the chance at last to release the album for the first time as it was originally intended- on 140g vinyl with new artwork and sleeve notes.
Due to Covid, musicians across the planet have been trying to survive for almost a year without ANY live work performances. Please support live music; please support musicians; please support the Arts. Let's create!
With every £20 donation, the donor will automatically secure a copy of the album upon release with free post and packaging.
That's not all! Every donor no matter how small or big will have their name listed upon the inner sleeve as part of the Palookaville! family.
Any and every donation is welcome and appreciated-please share at will.
