About six months ago, mom started having pain in her leg. When they ran tests, they found out she had a blockage in her artery there that was not allowing blood flow to her feet. After several months of appointments and waiting and more appointments then not being able to get in for almost eight weeks, the doctors finally did her surgery to flush out the blockage.

As you can imagine, a lot of damage was done while the waiting was happening. The tissue on her foot started to die, resulting in huge sores that made walking super difficult. Not only that, she started having traumatic results from the surgery itself.

Almost two weeks ago, she had to go in for another surgery to put a wound vac on because of all the drainage from the surgery. They also had to reopen the wound. So now she has to carry around a machine 24/7 and there’s still the massive sores and wounds on her foot that need dealt with after the surgery wound itself heals.

Shes already been off work since late august and now it’s looking like she’ll be off at least through October. Bills are piling up, vacation days are used up, and she doesn’t have a way to pay her rent or electric bill or get just day to day items.

She will eventually heal and get back to work but she does need some help in the meantime!!
