Pam Robb, Rescue Volunteer, Killed By Dog Attack
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I create this GoFundMe site for my closest friend, Pam Robb. Pam was a teacher for 40 years in South Florida, a naturalist, an environmentalist, and most importantly, a passionate advocate for animal rights.
Pam, a native of Minnesota, was a volunteer worker at 100+ Abandoned Dogs of the Everglades, a shelter for abandoned and abused dogs in South Florida. She worked there for the past eight years and had rehabilitated and found permanent homes for hundreds of dogs. She was the kindest and most genuine person I had ever met.
On Feb 17th, 2022, a large abused and timid dog that had been found abandoned in the Everglades, a dog that she had made great progress with over the past three weeks, suddenly turned on her and mauled her to death. Other workers jumped in to save her but it was too late.
We are all devastated that such a pure soul as Pam has been taken from us.
We are extremely grateful and humbled by the outpouring of love and support shown by all. The proceeds have gone to cover the expenses of Pam’s funeral, memorial service, and other death and medical related expenses.
Pam’s Celebration of Life was on April 9th, 2022, at the Ann Kolb Nature Center in Hollywood, FL. It was a beautiful ceremony with approximately 200 people and the media attending.
The internment ceremony for Pam’s ashes was held in her hometown of Afton, Minnesota. The installment of a grave marker is still pending.
Would you kindly help us cover the costs of the the grave marker by making a donation to reach our goal?
Thank you for your help and generosity.
