Pamela Griswold, mom, daughter, sister and friend

Hello. On March 16th my sister Pamela suffered a traumatic brain injury and was admitted to University Hospital in Syracuse. She is currently intubated and on a ventilator in critical condition. She is being closely monitored by the neuro staff because they determined that she is suffering from internal hemorrhaging in the front and on the sides of her brain. Pam is a fighter and loves unconditionally. She loves her family deeply and is one of the most caring and compassionate people that we all know. She has overcome obstacles throughout the course of her life that would seem impossible to so many. She works two jobs and is typically just able to make ends meet. She’s in a coma right now though. She can’t work. We don’t know how long this is going to be or the extent of the possible damage. It’s going to be a long road to recovery but all that we can do is stay focused and positive through prayers and love. Pam needs our help guys. She needs it in so many ways but unfortunately all that myself and my family can do is try to reach out and try to soften the financial blow that she is about to be dealing with. We don’t want her to have to worry about money of all things once she is home and recovering. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. We have never had to use this medium for helping someone before but have high hopes that we can do everything within our power to be there for her. Please help us help Pam. She would give the shirt off of her back just to make them smile. Thank you.
