Pamela's Journey: Facing Aggressive Cancer

Help Pamela Wilder Fuller & Family Through This Difficult Time
Some of you may know, but many of you may not, that our beloved wife and mother, Pamela Wilder Fuller, was diagnosed with cancer last year. We have kept this journey close to our hearts in an effort to shield her, and all of us, from fear, worry, and overwhelming sympathy.
Pamela has been bravely battling uterine serous carcinoma, facing it with strength and grace. She has tried everything—dietary changes, healing retreats, a hysterectomy, and chemotherapy—and just a couple of months ago, we were given hope when her cancer appeared to be in remission.
But that hope was short-lived. The cancer returned aggressively, bringing pain and new flare-ups. Recently, doctors discovered a 5.5-inch tumor in her abdomen—one that had gone previously undetected. This devastating news has made it clear just how aggressive this cancer truly is.
Doctors have cautioned that due to its rapid growth, the prognosis is not good. They have warned that further surgeries and medical interventions come with a low probability of success and may only diminish the quality of her remaining time with us.
Now that we’ve begun sharing this painful reality with friends and family, we have been overwhelmed by the love, kindness, and offers of support from those who care about Pamela. So many have asked, “How can we help?” We have received multiple offers for flowers, DoorDash gift cards, and other generous gestures—all of which we are incredibly grateful for. However, in an effort to simplify everything, we have created this GoFundMe as a single way for those who wish to contribute.
While she does not eat much these days, there are still many ways to bring her comfort. Donations will go toward:
- Experimental medications that may ease her symptoms
- Massages and medical equipment to improve her quality of life
- Flowers and small comforts to brighten her days
- Meal deliveries for her and her husband, Chip, so they don’t have to worry about daily necessities
- House modifications to help Pamela move around more easily and comfortably
- Electronic reading and audio gifts to keep her engaged and help reduce boredom
- Home services, including extra nursing care, cooking, and cleaning, to help ease the daily burdens on Pamela and her family
If you would like to donate for a specific purpose, please feel free to include a note with your contribution.
No amount is too small—and even if you can’t give, your thoughts, prayers, and love mean the world to us. This has all happened so fast, and we simply want to make the most of the time we have, honoring both Pamela’s journey and the incredible generosity of those who love her.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
