Pamela’s out of pocket medical expenses

Hi, my name is Pamela Holland Smith. I am 56 and I am a mother of six beautiful kids. I have 5 grown kids and a 5 year old son named Kasen. We recently moved to Salacoa Highlands in Jasper Ga about a year and a half ago. My husband Thad is a CDL driver and drives locally for GLM Landscape Supply in Canton Ga. I have been a homemaker since Kasen was born. I recently started to do deliver for Instacart to earn some extra money. Friday I was making one of my final runs before heading to pick up Kasen from Kindergarten and fell down a steep embankment and fractured my knee in two places. Presently I am still in Norrthside Hospital hoping to go home soon. I will be requiring home heath care and several pieces of medical equipment. Our new insurance requires us to pay 40% out of pocket. These unexpected expenses plus the work I husband will miss has left us in a financial bind. Asking for help is very difficult. Funds received will go to meet my out of pocket deductible and help with other expenses related to my injury.
