Pan Theater's Future
Please help Pan Theater survive closure due to COVID-19. Pan Theater is an Oakland based black-box theater that hosts a variety of improv troupes, writing and acting classes, and walk-in dojos.
This theater has provided bay-area improv entertainment since 2002 and many players have taken their acquired skills to continue their pursuit in the arts and/or have bettered their lives through the intrinsic benefits of learning improv.
So far we have raised over $14,000 with the help of over 92 donors and the campaign has been shared over 220 times.
A closed theater jeopardizes the Pan Theater space located on 120 Frank Ogawa Plaza Oakland, CA 94612. This GoFundMe page aims to continue the existence of one of the most formidable and revered improv theaters in the Bay Area.
We are seeking to raise $15,772 to cover the cost of deferred rent, utilities and insurance expenses
incurred during the COVID Pandemic.
Expenses to date include:
Rent: $12492
Utilities: $1230
Insurance: $2050
Pan Theater revenue is down approximately 70% during the Pandemic. The city of Oakland has graciously deferred rent.
