Panas Helping Hands Support to South East London

Panas Helping Hands started during the COVID-19 Pandemic, delivering hot meals to the NHS and other key workers from Panas Gurkha Restaurant in Lewisham. Seeing how much support was needed in our community, we quickly expanded our deliveries to homeless shelters and to support other needy groups.

Upon delivering our 100,00th meal, our journey was only just starting. We now continue our weekly deliveries to the most vulnerable in our community but have also expanded our support to other local organisations. We regularly feed and provide clothing for the local Gurkha Veterans and are also committed to raising funds for Ukrainian Refugees and their families, providing a regular lunch club for them at Panas Gurkha and also seeking to locally purchase equipment for their children to continue their education.
