Pancake party love!

Hi friends and neighbors -

Feeling so inspired, enlivened and grateful after successfully serving 700 pancakes at our San Francisco Pancake Party gathering!

It was an experience to remember! From writing that viral Twitter post ten days ago to flipping that last pancake on Saturday, I felt the love and support all around me. Friends and family cheered me on (special thanks to my aunt Mary Jo), strangers reached out congratulating me, and some brave souls even said they’ll do similar events in their neighborhoods (you can do it!)

At the pancake party a lot of folks asked for a donation jar or a tip jar. I didn’t really want the event to be about that. I wanted everyone to just be themselves and enjoy some pancakes from the weird guy down the block. But if you want to help contribute before my wife finds out how much it all cost, I’d be super appreciative. 

Thanks for all the love! I’m rooting for you and I know you’re rooting for me and for all your friends and neighbors. Now off to ice my flipping arm.
