Pancho Billa is so much more than a guy in a sombrero at the Bills game. He is the President of the DFW Chapter of the Buffalo Bills Backers. He is an ultimate Bills fan in Pro Football's Ultimate Fan Association (PFUFA). He supports campaigns like Fans Against Child Abuse, Fans Against Violence, NFL and MLB Go Gold for Kids Cancer.
More importantly, he is a great friend; a brother; a father of two beautiful children and a loving boyfriend. His smile and passion is infectious and he is one of the best people to have around.
As many of you have recently learned, our dear friend and Bills family member Pancho Billa has been diagnosed with cancer. This week he will undergo an aggressive surgery to remove a mass pressing on his spine to help bring normal function back to his arm. He is still undergoing several assessments to determine the origin and extent of the cancer. Treatment going forward will be dictated by the outcome of those assessments.
Cancer sucks. In addition to being knocked down from the surgery, other treatments and the cancer itself, one must endure the struggles of maintaining what was once your normal day-to-day routine, being tired, achey and sick; you have to manage the numerous doctors appointments, insurance issues, unexpected expenses and support a family.
