Pandemic collateral damage

Due to Covid-19 I had lost my job, resulting in the loss of residence and belongings. After living in a tent for several months, fighting to secure a place of residence, I was viciously attacked in my sleep by 4 (from what I can tell) assailants with knives and rubber bullet guns, and pellet guns, fully automatic. I barely escaped with my life. I was bleeding on the side of the road for what I believe to be 8 - 12 hours before being discovered. The attack took place in the middle of the night, so identifying them is next to impossible. The lady that discovered me saved my life and would love to reunite with her to show my gratitude. I have suffered multiple wounds, some requiring surgery as tendons nerves needed to be reattached. I have lost absolutely everything, down to the very clothes I had on. Its amazing how attached our lives are to smart phones these days, and I'm finding it incredibly difficult to get things done without one. Furthermore, I am staying in a shelter that is ill equipped in dealing with the medical needs I have, so finding a temp place is paramount, such as a hotel with a tub so I can clean my wounds and have them redressed.
I thank all those who do find it within themselves to help as I am not accustomed to reaching out for it, and find it difficult to accept...perhaps pride and ego in the way. Blessings to all of you who took the time to read this, and I hope perhaps that when you see someone on the side of the road, the valuable person is what you will tend to see.
Cheers.
