Portland Panty Project

It is socially unacceptable and unhealthy for women to go without clean underwear and a bra, yet many homeless women are unable to afford these necessities.
Since September, 2015 the Portland Panty Project has worked with Operation Nightwatch (a homeless hospitality center), Rahabs Sisters (a women's center), and Monika's House (a domestic violence shelter) to provide Portland’s homeless and in-need women with two pairs of underwear and one bra apiece. It is our goal to treat our undergarment distributions as a shopping experience for the women and children receiving the undergarments and thus to restore a sense of dignity that is often taken when living without these necessary products.
We continue to serve women monthly at these four centers and need funds to continue on with our mission. Thank you.
