Papa Goose Aka Bob Gneuhs' Last Wishes

Hi Folks, the Metro Express Women's Softball Team and Extended Family of Bob Gneuhs have created this Go Fund Me in order to assist in this time of need, please read on.

As you may be aware we lost Papa Goose on Saturday evening after a brief stay in the hospital. Though we wish he could stay with us forever we know that he is no longer in pain and perhaps he and Zach Green are already putting together some plays for a new team.

Papa Goose's family wasn't emotionally or financially prepared for his passing and could really use some help from the community that he so lovingly served all these years.

Something About Bob

Have you met Bob? Have you been coached by Bob? Have you had the honor of sharing a beverage with Bob? If you met Bob you know he is unforgettable.

Bob Gneuhs (whom the OG Metro Express Ladies lovingly nicknamed Papa Goose) brought a bright light and sweet sense of humor to the field all the while making sure you were on task...from pitchers to catchers, infield and outfield - if you wore a uniform he could turn you into the best player and person you could be.

Over the last few years Bob has weathered a few health storms, always with a smile and a tall middle finger, if you know you know! This time though he fought hard and stayed as strong as he could he was just not able to win.

If you could find it in your heart to donate and/or share this Go Fund Me for Bob's remaining loved ones it would be greatly appreciated. Medical bills, funeral costs, memorial service expenses and additional bills are piling up and his family could really use the support.
