Many of you know our dear Louie Tran. He has a heart for giving to others and a gift for facing many challenges with gratitude, courage, and faith in God. And if anyone knows him really well, he does not like asking or receiving help. Instead, he puts a smile on his face and works extremely hard to navigate through this journey we call life.

Today, if you can, let's bring The Tran family together one last time. See, after South Vietnam fell to communism, Papa Tran put his boys each on a boat to escape the Viet Cong. Grace of God, they all made it to a new land: Holland, Germany, and USA.

Louie dove in to becoming a true American; I mean he knows more about the US and speaks better English than me.

During his journey here, he graduated from St. Joseph High School, went to Hinds Community College, and then to Mississippi State where he earned his electrical engineering degree.

Then, he began his process of becoming a US citizen. If anyone sits next to him during the National Anthem, you know he is a proud American and "True Maroon."

My goal is to reunite his family one last time before their courageous and loving father dies. Papa Tran is currently receiving Hospice services from Sharpe Memorial in San Diego.

He does not have long. Doctors said for family to come now.

If you are able, please help The Trans reunite and bury Papa Tran with a fierce love.

Much love!!!! and many thanks!!!
