Paper Warriors Short Film

Hello and welcome!

We are excited to finally launch our GoFundMe page! We are a team of 13 passionate students from the University of Central Florida in the Character Animation program, and for the past year and a half we’ve been developing our short film: Paper Warriors. ✂

The story follows two paper samurai—a reckless pupil and his tempered sensei— who maintain an uneasy accord. When a pair of scissors sanders their home, they are forced to choose: fight or flight. Neither capable of matching the threat alone, the two disparate warriors must reconcile their differences on the battlefield and learn to rely on one another if they wish to survive.

Being a student-led production, we do not receive a budget from the university to produce our film. That’s where we need your help! This campaign has been created with the purpose of raising money for the cost of production, sound design, and film festival submissions. Our overall mission is to raise funds to give us student artists the opportunity to finalize the short film, as well as receive exposure for the work field as we set to graduate in Spring 2025. All donations are greatly appreciated!
