Somos la Familia Corea Escalante, estamos viviendo la tragedia más dificil de perder a una hija como nuestra Dayana de 16 años. Este 22 de enero ella despertó como todos los días llena de alegria por lograr sus metas. Fue poco despues de las 11:20 cuando recibimos la noticia de un tiroteo en Antioch High School y quéella habia sido lesionada, jamas imaginamos hoy decir qué murio, qué un arma dirigida por un joven, acabo con su vida y nos ha dejado desconsolados y sin su presencia.

On January 22nd, their beloved daughter was taken from them when a 17-year-old student opened fire in the cafeteria of Antioch High School. Josselin, a bright and compassionate young woman, dreamed of becoming a doctor. Just last year, she celebrated her Quinceañera, a milestone filled with joy and hope for the future.

Her parents, hardworking members of the community, dedicated their lives to giving their children the opportunities they never had. Now, their dream of seeing Josselin graduate and achieve her goals has been cruelly cut short.

As they grieve this devastating loss, Josselin's family is raising funds to honor her memory by transporting her body back to Guatemala, where she can rest in peace surrounded by loved ones. The funds will also help ease the burden of daily expenses as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
