Para que mi madre se recupere del incendio del 10 de junio

El pasado 10 de junio, mi madre, Martha Martínez, perdió todas sus posesiones en el incendio residencial más devastador de las últimas décadas en Miami.

El incendio, provocado intencionalmente, también ha dejado desamparadas a otros ancianos de bajos ingresos.

Después de 20 años en Miami, con 76 de edad y varios problemas de salud, mi madre vuelve a ser una refugiada y tendrá que comenzar de nuevo.

On June 10th, my mother, Martha Martinez, was a victim of arson. My mother’s residential community was intentionally set on fire, marking the incident as the worst of its kind during this past decade in the city of Miami. This residential community was home to many elderly low-income tenants.

After accruing 20 years of hard work and financial stability in Miami, my mother will have to start anew at 76. She suffers from several health problems and needs substantial assistance. We turn to the help of friends, family, and the community to help us recover from the tragic event. Any help is welcome.
