Help Eve chase her Para Dance Sport Dreams

Hi, my name is Eve! I am 15 years old & a para dancer.

The first international para dance competition was held 1975!!! Para dancing is just emerging as a sport in the US with the first sanctioned US Para Dance Sport Competition to be held in Detroit, Michigan this summer bringing many competitors from around the world! The World Para Dance Sport Org. is now governed by World Ability Sport & we hope someday it will be included in the Paralympic events!

In 2022 My dance instructor / partner, Ernie & I had the opportunity to work with a world champion para dance sport coach. He strongly encouraged us to compete internationally beginning with the Malta Open Dance Spectacular at the end of November that same year. as the first junior international competitor from the United States. At that even we placed 1st in the Combi Latin dance class!! In the spring of 2023 we competed in our first IPC sanctioned event where we also placed in every event we danced in & qualified for the World Championships held in Genoa Italy, November 2023. I was the youngest competitor at the World Championships as well as the first female, junior competitor from the United States to compete World Championships where I took the silver medal in the junior singles category & took placements in the adult divisions as well. I am asking for your support in achieving my dreams to become a World Para Dance Sport World Champion & hopefully, one day a Paralympian!

In order to really compete at this elite level & to reach my goal of taking Gold medals in the adult division I need to increase my level of training. While we will have the first sanctioned event in the US this year it is also necessary to travel to Europe as well for other qualifying competitions to make it to the World Championship. Total costs to train & compete at this level each year can reach up to $80,000. Without the support of individuals & charity organizations I cannot continue with this endeavor. Any amount that you are willing to contribute as a sponsor would be greatly appreciated! In addition, I will be selling homemade fresh squeezed lemonade, my own glitter hair gel, holding rummage sales & selling T-shirts! I am not just looking for hand outs but also working hard to earn money to support my athletic ambitions.
