Paradise Camp Fire To Maui~ We Are Ohana

From Paradise, CA we are Camp Fire Survivors raising funds to immediately help our Maui friends and their extended Ohana. We have gone through this experience and we know the fastest way to help is by immediately getting gift cards, gas cards, and supplies distributed as fast as possible. We have direct connections on Maui to immediately distribute help and we will be going to Maui to distribute help ourselves as well.

Who we are:

April Kelly- I lived in Maui for 16 years & moved home the year before we lost our town to the Camp Fire. During the fire I was able to raise over $15,000 in cash donations, supplies, food, and clothing. I am the General Manager of Nic’s Restaurant and was honored to open one of the very first businesses in Paradise alongside Nicki Jones. We have raised thousands of dollars towards the rebuilding of our community in Paradise. My goal is to do the same for Maui.

Kim Colombo- Kim lost her home in the Camp Fire and owns a successful clothing store in downtown Chico. During the Camp Fire she was able to secure hundreds of pieces of brand new clothing from her clothing stores distributors. She also opened a store in Paradise for a short time to provide the ridge with clothing. She is working on designing hats & bracelets to supply as fund raiser items that will be sold in her business. Her knowledge around fire insurance claims and rebuilding will be invaluable to the community of Maui.
