Late night Thursday November 8th, Just two weeks before Thanksgiving, a camp fire blazed through the Northern California region. Now scorching of 70,000 Acres, the Small town of Paradise has been destroyed.
In that small town lived a Man by the name of Milton Goings. A US Marine Corps Veteran, a Father, a Brother, a Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and a On going Cancer fighter. Preparing for his last round of chemo, in an instant he lost everything.
It took me years to find and unite with my grandfather and the family I missed out on having grown up. When I finally met him, I realized just how amazing he is. He's outgoing, uplifting and inspiring, giving and supportive of everyone. I want to help my grandfather get himself somewhere safe and somewhere he can restart his life.
