Parent and advocate seeking community support
Donation protected
My name is Jasmine and I’m raising capital for a startup venture that would require funds to help sustain my business, as owner and sole employee of Hands Are For Loving. My business was established in 2020 in White Plains, New York then growing to the greater Tri-State area. As a survivor of domestic violence, a single parent of five including a neurodivergent child, and a community advocate: I’ve seen firsthand the dire need for more grassroots community organizations to help fill the void that governmental agencies, corporate social service organizations, and the legal system simply cannot do alone. Through experience, I’ve navigated so many channels to help afford the life I have today. Free of abuse and poverty, as well as more educational resources for my child diagnosed with autism. There is a paramount of health, social, and economic issues that plague our community that often go unaddressed. If solutions aren’t created and implemented, the next generations will pay the price and we will digress as a society. I humbly appreciate any donation that you can make. You may ask what the funds will be used for.
The funds will cover operating costs including licensing, training and certifications, overhead expenses, charitable donations, and community outreach. The capital raised will allow me to be impactful in the surrounding community; serving a population of domestic violence victims, individuals of low socioeconomic backgrounds, and households who are in desperate need of intervention and mediation due to trauma, abuse, and divisiveness. As capital is raised, I will work on building my business and scaling it to help reach more and more people. As of today, I am a behavior therapist working with
a minority child who is neurodivergent and a licensed real estate agent with a background in financial services. I have a network of resources and will appreciate your help in building my business to greater heights to leave a legacy and remarkable imprint in our communities and beyond.
