"WALKING THE LENGTH OF IRELAND - A MARATHON A DAY FOR 14 DAYS"
I'm new to social media, but I'm assured this is the best way to get my message across. I've decided, with the support of my family and friends, to take on the huge challenge of walking "A MARATHON PER DAY FOR 14 DAYS" (364miles/586km), starting at Tragumna Bay, Skibbereen, on the Coast of County Cork, on 23th July and finishing in Glenarm, on the coast of County Antrim, on 5th August.
I'm taking on this challenge to highlight Parental Alienation. This is the loss of contact between one parent and their children following parental separation with one parent intentionally interfering and denying access to the other parent. Having watched someone go through the experience of losing contact with their children, I have decided to bring the sensitive topic of Parental Alienation across the island of Ireland.
I have opened a Go Fund Me account, the proceeds of which will go to La Dolce Vita and Turning Point NI, two charities chosen for their commitment to supporting people experiencing Parental Alienation and those battling poor mental health. For now, wish me luck and give me a quick shout out if you see me along the roads.
