On Monday 11 April we successfully lodged our case with the High Court. We have raised over £20,000 so far from all sources and we are now urgently seeking to raise £12,000 to cover the additional costs and to move forward to the next stage. Three months ago, on January 28, the UK government closed down our school after a report from the inspection authority in our country. We had nearly 250 children.
We parents know quite well that our children were safe and happy at their school! Our children were happy and loved their teachers. The thing is that the government people do not know or understand much about our type of education which allows children to grow and learn without being forced.
The government should not have just closed down our school from one day to the next and we are fighting back! Michael Mansfield, a top lawyer in the UK has taken on our case. We know our cause is just. To bring our case to full Judicial Review we will need at least £100,000 since we have been denied Legal Aid but we are determined.
£10,000 is needed in the next few days. We have many supporters among educationalists up and down the country. Please help us to hold the Government to account! We will win this case when we get the funds and our case will help parents all over the world to have freedom of choice for their children’s education.
