Paris Birthday - Telluride Mushroom Festival

Hello friends and family! For my 22nd birthday, I am asking for contributions to go towards the expenses required to attend the Telluride Mushroom Festival which is taking place from August 17-21 later this summer. This event celebrates all things mycological with over thirty speakers leading presentations, workshops, forays and demonstrations covering a wide array of topics from the newest advancements in mushroom science to culinary applications.

 

As you may know, Reed and I grew a variety of mushrooms throughout 2020 and 2021 in what started as a quarantine project but quickly evolved into a lifetime curiosity and passion for fungi. I have followed a few key leaders in the mycological community over the past couple of years and many of them will be in attendance at this event as local and international mushroom experts will convene for the festival to impart their expert knowledge of mushrooms upon attendees and discuss how these organisms can further benefit the world in the future.
