Paris marathon in memory of Cara Hannon

I never thought I’d write the below two sentences, but in one month I will be running the Paris Marathon, and I am doing it in honour of my beautiful cousin Cara Hannon.

One week ago, Cara passed away suddenly from a catastrophic cardiac event at just 23 years old. To honour her wonderful life, I have chosen to run this marathon in memory and honour of her. I have no doubt it will be a challenging 26 miles but I know Cara will be laughing and joking with me every step of the way

Cara loved all animals, and she loved her dog Sam. With this in mind I have created this go fund me to try and raise some money for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA), a cause that was very close to Cara’s heart. It would really mean the world to me and to Cara’s family if you could consider a small donation in Cara’s memory.

Life is fragile, it goes by in a heartbeat - make the most of it ❤️
