Park and Lake Car Wash - Lake Street, Mpls

Hi.  I am the owner of Park and Lake Car Wash.  I bought the business in December 2015 with my partner.  During this past week, it was badly damaged.  Twenty of the windows were broken, the central controls were broken, our computers and POS were damaged or stolen, some additional equipment was damaged and supplies were stolen.   There was also a lot of graffiti.  It currently is not operational.  Insurance will cover the depreciated value of equipment but we need to come up with $200,000.  We have had an overwhelming turnout from the Twin Cities community in cleaning the area and our business and we are so grateful for that.  The other piece that is hard to put a number on is the families we support through the employment of our people.  We do not know how much can be raised here.  Our first priorities are to become operational, get everyone back to work, and bring the community back to life.  We want people to come to all the Lake Street businesses.  We love Lake Street!  We love Minneapolis!  Any amount raised beyond that we will give to our employees.
