Parke Diem 2015 Park party
Donation protected
Let us start by saying THANK YOU all so much for your continued support of the Parke Diem park party adventure! Every summer this event gets bigger and better and that's all thanks to you!
June 6th will mark our 5th annual party in the park and we strive to make it better than the last event! As you know, this event is free, family friendly, and open to the public. However, the event does cost a bit to put on. As a crew, Covert Ops provides the majority of the funds required to put the show on, which generally includes park use fees, insurance, trash/recycling removal, sound, generator/gas, and transportation costs.
Although we do collect donations during the show, this year we are giving people the opportunity to donate in advance of the show, in a more convenient way than packing around cash. Our fundraising goal is just $500, which will go towards the rental of stellar sound to titilate your ear drums and reach all the way across the lawn! Being able to rent gear alleviates logistical challenges of getting equipment to the park and frees up our time and focus for other aspects of the party. It will also go towards new requirements imposed by the Parks Department, including trash removal and other minor expenses not covered by internal fundraising efforts. We feel that $500 is a relatively easy goal to reach, with donations of $10-20 making a big impact :) Again, thank you so much for your continued support! We can't wait to see you all in the park!!
