PARKER family fund in memory of James D. Parker

Dear local Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of James's sudden passing at the young age of 47, as a direct result of an assumed heart condition, also pending confirmed medical results. As we come to terms with this unimaginable loss, our thoughts are also with his loving wife Kami, of many years, and 6 incredible kids who were his everything, and now face an uncertain future without their beloved dad.

On Saturday, August 19th, 2023, around 5PM doing what he loves with one of his most cherished sons on a bow hunt he was so thrilled to finally draw out on, James collapsed on the trail coming down the mountain. You could only be left to imagine the struggle his own son endured administering a lengthy battle of life saving measures, waiting for medical help to arrive.

James was more than a dad, husband, uncle, brother, son, Olympian, coach and friend; he was a light that brightened our lives with his infectious laughter, warm smile, and unwavering kindness. He also was talented and well known chiropractor in the community, just recently opening Parker Muscle and Sports Clinic, where he was just finally getting his dreams off the ground after his many years of family sacrifices. James also spent time serving his county with the United States Air Force. His name and legacy will continue to be kept alive by those who loved him.

Most important, his love for his kids and wife knew no bounds, and we are committed to honoring his memory by ensuring that his children’s well-being and future are secure as he was the sole and primary income for his family, leaving this unimaginable and heavy burden.

In this time of immense grief, James's family has been thrust into a situation that is difficult to fathom. Funeral costs alone are expensive, and as friends and family members, we are coming together to organize this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will alleviate the financial burden of James's memorial arrangements, the daily and monthly family expenses, and the unforeseen immediate expenses that have arisen for his family.

As a local community and small town, we come together to show this family our love! Every donation, no matter how small, will have a profound impact on each member of this family. Your support will directly help James's family as they navigate these challenging times and provide a brighter future for the Parker family.
