Update*

We lost our dear sweet brother, father, son, friend, husband and dad, ParkerLindsay to ALS on November 20th. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication, along with his wife Whitney and 3 children. Our family is hurting over the loss of Parker and we struggle every day with the hole that has been left in our hearts.

We ask that you keep Whitney, the kids, and all of Parker’s family in your heart and prayers.

We encourage you to share this GoFundMe and join us in continuing to donate to support Parker’s wife and kids as they navigate through the mound of expenses that come with laying Parker to rest as well as working through the days, weeks, months ahead as the find their new normal.

We appreciate all of you so much and send our love.

Original Post: This is a hard one to write. Our amazing brother, husband, father, son and friend, Parker Lindsay needs you. If you know Parker, chances are he’s helped out you with a flat tire, a gallon of gas, a listening ear, a home to stay in, a job to get you back on your feet, a truck to borrow, or a hot meal. Parker is always the first to say, “I got you”, “I can help”, or “I know a guy”. Maybe you’ve golfed with Parker, played football, gone hunting, fishing, or have worked with him, then you know that this is just who he is, he’s always doing favors or acts of service. Well now it’s our turn to do the same for him.

Parker has been dealing with mysterious health issues this past year, which in a matter of 6 months have resulted in the loss of strength and motion in multiple limbs. Parker underwent surgery this last fall in hopes to bring back mobility but it has only progressed further into other areas of his body. Just days before Christmas, Parker received life changing news... he was diagnosed with ALS.

Parker’s life and his family’s future has forever changed. Parker’s ALS is progressive which means he will continue to lose his motor functions and strength. Parker is already unable to enjoy his favorite hobbies and pastimes due to the loss of mobility in his left arm and leg and has endured several falls which have landed him in the hospital. With this diagnosis comes a mountain of expenses. Not only with doctors, clinical trials, medications, and therapy, but Parker’s home and transportation will need intense modifications to ensure it’s safe and accessible. This includes wheelchair accessible ramps, widening door openings, transportation that can accommodate an electric wheelchair, a possible in home aid, and so much more.

Parker is lucky to have a wonderful wife, Whitney, 3 beautiful children, and his entire family to be by his side but he needs all of you as well.

If you would like to donate to Parker and his family we know how grateful they would be for your generosity. If you have skillsets or time you’d like to donate to help modify Parker’s home, vehicle, or to assist his family, or if you would like to make a private donation, please reach out to his sister Madison Kent.

We love you Parker and we’re here for the fight… we “got you”!

Love, the entire Lindsay family!
