Parker Nugent Memorial Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
UPDATE for donations going forward: I would like to announce that a Donor Managed Fund called LLP - The Parker Nugent Legacy Fund has officially been established with the Go Fund me money. This fund is managed by Edward Jones Financial.
The plan for his fund is to invest a portion so that we can give annually while being as generous as possible and see where God takes it from there.
This year we will be giving away at least 3 scholarships to CHS Seniors, sponsoring a PN4L Rocketown Team and assisting with sending high schoolers to Young Life Camp.
All donations to this fund are tax deductible going forward and to contribute you can send a check payable to Jeanine or Scott Nugent and in the memo write - The Parker Nugent Legacy Fund. Checks can be mailed to me directly or if you prefer:

Parker Glynn Nugent, age 17 of Franklin, TN passed away June 8, 2023. Parker lived life large. His smile and joy for life poured out on the people around him. From the time Parker was little he loved to be on wheels – skateboarding was his passion. Parker enjoyed being on the water, whether it was wake surfing on Smith Lake or Boogie boarding at Redondo Beach. He also found a love for photography and film and aspired to learn Italian and travel to Italy to study abroad. He was a large part of Young Life in Franklin, Tennessee where he shared his love for Jesus in his community. Parker lived life to the fullest.
Parker was loved by so many people. He made a huge impact on everyone he met. The outpouring of love and support from the Nugent's friends, family, church, neighborhood and even strangers is a testament to this amazing family and their incredible son.
If you asked anyone who knows Parker to say something that reminds you of him, it's almost guaranteed that skateboarding and photography would be high on that list. As a remembrance of his love and talent in both of these areas, his family and friends are raising funds to establish the Parker Nugent Memorial Scholarship Fund. 100% of the funds raised will be used to fund a scholarship for a kid in need at Rocketown (rocketown.org) or a Centennial High School (Franklin, TN) senior continuing their education in film or photography.
Please continue to pray for the Nugent family and everyone who loved Parker (there are many!) and thank you in advance for helping to create a scholarship to honor Parker's memory.
