Parker Tragedy

Parker friends, family, and community members,

Our community was impacted by a tragic event just a couple of days ago that resulted in the passing of 3 family members within Parker. We know the community is hurting and we are trying to assist the family as best as we can while being respectful of their privacy and time of mourning.

The Dads of Parker were asked to be the intermediary for the receiving of funds by a close friend of the family. Dads of Parker is a federally registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charity.

We are starting a GoFundMe as well as planning an in-person Pancake Breakfast for the weekend of January 20th. Details are still being worked on the Pancake Breakfast, but we will keep you updated on here as well as on Facebook.

Our goal to raise $100,000 is for 2 reasons. The first is to benefit the surviving family members of this tragedy with the resources they will need moving forward. The second would be to establish a memorial fund for the child of the incident and name the grant award in their name to keep their memory and story alive for many years to come. The grant specifics would be directed toward activities and events the child was interested in with the family's approval and a board comprised of family and friends to vote on.
